What L.C. offers…

This site is for W.A.R.M. (Writers, Animal Lovers, Readers, Muses) Earthlings. There are plenty of fiction and non-fiction stories and a puzzle or two. Material will range from the factual to the fiction, serious to zany and anything in between. It is also a site for those earth guardians who strive to protect and nurture life.

No groaning allowed…

Just a tiny bit of history…The official start to Lone Creature was when L.C. finally reached the age of 42 (to avoid copyright issues we're not going to mention 42 is the meaning of life from The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy etc.). However, from age one L.C. knew it was her destiny to create an environment for like-minds. Over the years she had to wait for technology to evolve and for her son to grow up, learn IT and code her environment. That done, along with a bit of nagging, monetary bribes and pleading, she finally went online. Excuses absolved, procrastinating postponed and optimism bright Lone Creature came alive (with the occasional slumps).

What are my goals?

The goals of Lone Creature are to Provide, Support and Promote.

Provide: Lone Creature provides creative relief.

Support: this will be done by actively supporting various foundations or businesses or individuals who strive to give a safe haven to, protect or save a species, or work towards bettering the life of the earthly biota.

Promote: Lone Creature will also promote writers and artists through online presentations; book reviews; online books or gallery with online launches; joint writing exercises; and online publishing (PDF) respecting copyright laws.

What you can do…

Lone Creature is not just about me; it's about you, too. You can submit work to sell or submit as a contribution. However, to do this you must be a member of LC.

What we do…

Hunt, scamper, howl, present our bellies to the sun, scratch our fleas…what more is there to say?
